DNF at 2/3

Took me a while to get through this. And am still not fully through it. In fact, this is gonna be a book I often refer to. I bought a physical copy of this book today.

I’ve experienced a lot of “letting go” moments in the last few years. I find everything he discusses in the book go be reasonable and possible. But I still ask myself the question, so how do I actually surrender. How do I actually let go?

This book helped me calm myself a lot. It was simple and peaceful.
Though, please do get medical help (letting go of that could be a bit too far).

Good information but rather boring to read. The worst part is after he goes on and on, he doesn’t really succinctly explain the actual technique. Part of my neutral experience with this book is that it was not the first time I’ve come across this info. Perhaps to someone approaching this for the first time, it would be great. Still worth checking out but I hope he updates it by rewriting it.

DID NOT FINISH: 69%

Very vague and quite ludicrous claims such as “you only get a cold if You Believe You Wil Get A Cold”. A lot of unsupported claims being thrown around and treated as fact which can be dangerous especially how highly rated this book is.

Lately, I have been reading exactly the book that I need to be reading at exactly the right time, and this was especially true for this book. It is perfect, interestingly written, and literally life changing. I knew I had to let go of certain things, but this really explained how to and gave a kind of rationale and explanation that made it so much easier... I will never be the same person after reading this.
