challenging dark fast-paced

The book perfectly conveys the message "Nothing matters". The protagonist of the book is unphased by everything going around him because he doesn't find any meaning in anything. That's why his actions and emotions (or lack thereof) seem so strange and at times outrageous to those around him, and to us.

i had no idea what this book was about when i started reading it. i got sort of impatient (sad) around page 60 and read the back to see what i was reading, and deeply regretted it right after. the slow turn of events from this pretty normal life to what it becomes is interesting.
