Oh sweet lord have you blessed me again with a wonderful book!!

I don’t know what I’ve done in my past lives to earn the opportunity to read this book but I am BEYOND thankful!

The connection. The spicy smutty details. The MEN!

I might have sobbed SEVERAL times in the book but what can I say. I’m a cancer. It was bound to happen!

Such a great story!

Jake! Love!

Caleb! Adorable!

Ilmari! Damnit I might have to move!

All so delicious!

I will never read a book like this again. This book is entirely too long and would’ve been great without the never ending sex scenes. I had to skip forward and play the audiobook at up to 2x speed in several cases. The backstory is interesting but unfortunately overshadowed by the unending sex scenes.

When I saw the audiobook was 14.5 hours I thought there’s no way a book needs to be that long. And the reason it’s so long is because it’s a bunch of drawn out sex scenes linked together by an interesting story. This bin could have been shorter. Way shorter. But apparently the sex scenes just had to be as long as possible. I wish there was a version I’d the book with less sex and more story.

Holy Moly! ♾️/5 this book was just amazing. First why choose hockey romance I’ve ever read but I can already tell it’ll be the standard by which I judge all others. I absolutely adored the characters with an extra soft spot for a certain Finnish goalie. I highly recommend. The story wa captivating all the way through, I didn’t find myself getting tired or bored at any points and boy oh boy the smut was top tier. Can’t wait for Pucking Wild

Characters: Rachel, Jake, Caleb and Ilmari

I can understand the people who claim Rachel is a pick-me. There were times I felt like she was a pick me, and other times the team bicycle.

First she’s with Jake (in the prequel novella), then she is with both Jake and Caleb.

How many times I’ve rolled my eyes. This woman acts like a professional one minute and a nympho the next.

Jake is such a sap weenie.

This book could have lost 300 pages and still be understood, it was way too long.

Never, in my whole history of reading books, have I rooted against a main character as much as I did with this one.

Bahahahah I just had to read this to understand the booktok hype, I love a hockey romance. I get why people have their problems but honestly it is a good wee light read when focusing on the characters and their development.

The spice was maybe way too much hahaa but it is what it is.
