This book is very.. interesting. I really enjoyed some parts of the book but I was quite lost at times as well. The writing style is very unique and takes some time to get used to, and it gets difficult to understand at times. But because this writing style is so new to me, I enjoyed reading it nonetheless. I really enjoyed the family aspect and how it tied into the mythological aspect of the book. I just wish the author could have simplified the language instead of writing winding descriptions and confusing the shit out of me, because half of the time I wasn't sure if I was reading reality or the perceived reality of the unstable narrator (which has its own charm as well). Overall, it was a fun read, definitely try it out if your into unstable characters and Indian mythology with lots of fever dream-ish elements!
