This book was really just too much telling instead of showing. All of the pieces are there, but it really felt hard to connect to either character and really love them. I also felt like their conversations were so heavy-handed towards the end, it just didn’t work for me. I feel like this book would’ve done better being longer and really giving their time in the relationship to develop. It felt like they jumped straight to love when they were barely even friends before that.
