This was for sure interesting at the end but most of it happened at the end. Basically lennie forgets things and he accidentally hurts people, that’s like the first 70 pages. After that it gets better though. Since it was written a long time ago and during the Great Depression, it does use words that we have now deemed as racial slurs and hateful language. Also the poor dog dies.

Ignoring the ableism, racism, and sexism the book is still bad. It was so boring. I had to stop several times when reading it because it was so boring. I also don't like George.

most boring book i've ever read. not a single likeable character plus <spolier>not one but TWO dogs die. wtf.
