Two thousand years and Daedelus still didn’t invent superglue for those feathers

4.5/5

Every book just gets better and better--and considering this was the first book of the series that I read with no idea of what was going to happen, I think it's safe to say that Uncle Rick doesn't miss. Halfway through the book I remembered that Nico is like, eleven, and the thought destroyed me. These children are going through so much, and yet, they're still not safe. Gotta start reading the final book of this first series!

I liked it more than Titan's Curse; the story felt a little more flushed out, I laughed and gasped, and it was a little less hand wavy (except for the scene with the sphinx). I especially like that as I read along in the series, and as the characters age, the writing and the feel of the book get older too. It feels like I'm reading myself out of it's "children's book" title.

this is my favourite rick riordan book hands down, with all the little details: nico at the end, the moon lace, clarisse and chris, mrs o’leary - i just really like it and i cried quite a bit throughout

3.75/4 stars

Not my favorite in the series but it was still lots of fun!

Plot : As the title indicates, this installment in the series takes place in the Minotaur's Labyrinth. Who to trust becomes problematic.

Impressions : This fourth novel is darker than the previous one, and the asphixiating atmospere is perfectly expressed in the labyrinth. The quest for Pan continues,
and its ending is bittersweet.
. Percy's powers grow, but it now is apparent they will never be enough.
