Imagine the situation. After a break-in a couple decide to move. It's understandable. Bad experience. They hear about a super controlling, award winning, architect who's looking for tenants for his perfect house. They have to go through a rigorous selection process, but get the house. A few months months later, the girlfriend's dead.

Three years later, a woman hears about the home has a bad experience. She applies. Gets it. Once there, she hears about the previous couple. Does some digging. All hell breaks loose.

That's about the sum of the story. It has the potential to be a good one to. It's just it's somewhat predictable who the murderer was, so you spend a lot of time thinking "Hurry up, get to the point."

My other grumble is by the end you've decided you won't like any of the characters, which isn't a good look for a book where you're supposed to be rooting for someone.

Really enjoyed this - the ending was a little predictable though.
