I really wanted to learn the natural history aspects of CP, especially about Project X! That’s why I picked up the book. For that, I give the book 3 stars. She’s diligent in her facts, even using Latin names. But...I can’t stand her anthropomorphism, the lengthy lists of who is present at every event, and her flowery descriptions of things. Feels like reading a diary rather than a natural history book.
