I really struggled with the first two books of the series but absolutely devoured this one. I think it’s because the main characters in the first two are…boring? They fell in love almost instantly and there was little build up.
Neri and Nephele are written much better. I also love Nephele as a main character.
I did still struggle a bit with the writing and feel it could be improved upon. I feel like there just wasn’t enough world building throughout the series. Even still, I loved this novella.
4.3 stars for me. Couldn’t put it down.

Liked the change of focus to different characters, Nephele & Neri. Did the romance seemed a bit rushed at the end or was that just me? Crazy how they left my girl Raina hanging in the past!? Obviously/Hopefully the next book covers Raina’s story in the meantime? 🤷🏻♀️
Okay, I did not LOVE this book switching couple perspectives, especially after leaving Raina in the past at the end of the previous book. I DO enjoy Neri and Nephele though. They're relationship is fantastic, and I liked watching them fall for each other, and OH WOW, the sexy times were WILDLY HOT. Why don't more books have a four-way with copies of the sexy god the FMC is banging?? .
I'm very looking forward to where the next book takes us and also looking forward to reading the collection of smutty stories.
