Hey. Hi. HELLOOO! I simply do not have words for this book and my current state of emotions.

What an ABSOLUTE journey it took me on. It jumps right after the events at the end of City of Ruin and it’s full steam ahead from there. It has everything you could want from a fantasy romance: enemies to lovers, badass, powerful FMC, hot, white-haired MMC, and tension you can cut with a knife. Charissa truly has a talent for giving you blue balls then hitting you with the HOTTEST scene you could read. The last three chapters had me completely FERAL and I think Neri and Nephele have become two of my all time favorite characters.

I got this book as an ARC and I am so eternally grateful to Charissa and her team for giving me a chance to read this novella a few days ahead of time ❤️ I truly CANNOT WAIT for book 4!!!!

This was great as audiobook and getting Neri + Nephele in the spotlight. It also added a lot to the backstory and history of Alexus and Reina. I just love this series and am eating up every bit of it before the next installment releases. Also, great spice!
