Much better page count than book 2 - this isn't a novella nor is it filler, more like a side story that still matters to the main story.

Love Nephele and Neri - decent execution of enemies to lovers trope that's been building since book 2.

Not sure what the complaints are, spice doesn't happen until about 60% into the story.
