I thought the second book had nothing going on. This was worse. Really disappointed as the first book was good. There will be two more books. Hopefully those pick up whenever they come out and aren’t slow.

Entertaining and cute, but for some reason, pacing felt terribly slow and I struggled to WANT to read for most of the book until the last 60%. Love love love Neri.

Charissa is actually trying to kill me, and I’m here for it. This might just be one of the best slow-burn, enemies-to-lovers books I’ve ever read. Neri’s pining is so well written, paired with his sassy attitude that I almost combusted. Nephele is better than me in every way because I fear I would’ve folded far sooner. Everything about this book was chef’s kiss—10/10, bury me six feet under with it.

While this book is much shorter than the rest of the series, it helps answer a few important plot points from book two while still furthering the overarching plot of the series.

As the previous two books in this series, this one was also slow to start. It got better as it went on though. I just wish these were as gripping from the start as they are towards the middle.

this got a little freaky towards the end and i was not expecting it all. im not complaining b/c it was very...imaginative. it was to me a bit of a filler book but we did get some small revelations. i can't wait to pick up the next book
