I read this before city of ruin (curse you limited audiobook Spotify hours) so I know I got some spoilers but then I looked it up and I think I’ll be left on a cliff hanger whilst we wait on book 4? Booo but also take your time queen I’ll be waiting

Still and interesting expansion on the multiple storyline and magic world created in this series. I get the hot and heavy appeal of vampire and vampire-like culture. Not my thing.... but what bothers me is that the need stems from being a wolf or wolf-like? And just... I know it's a fantasy world, but if you're using a common/real world animal, then biology needs to be right. And wolves do not crave blood. They track blood. They don't crave it or drink it. So either needed some sort of story building to create wolves that do this in this world... or just have done something different. It was a bit of put off and while I really enjoy Neri and Nephele... just could not enjoy this as much.
