“I don't want your fear, Nephele.” Eyes shadowed with lust, he folds his arms around me and gathers me into a lover's embrace. “I want your surrender.”

I ate this one up. No crumbs.

FIVE GOD-FUCKING STARS

Let me preface this by saying that I was brought to this series blindly from fan art that I found by IG: e_kath_art. I was perplexed while reading book 1, just waiting for Nephele and Neri to be introduced, just for me to realize that they’re supporting characters for the first TWO books. The Wolf and the Witch is their novella and let me tell you, IT WAS WORTH THE WAIT.

This book offers everything that I love

⚜️Enemies to lovers ✅
⚜️ Mutual pining ✅
⚜️ ALLLLLL the banter ✅
⚜️ He falls first ✅
⚜️ Possessive MMC ✅
⚜️ Dirty talk ✅
⚜️KINKY God-sex ✅✅✅

Anyway check out e_kath_art if you’d like a bit of a visual representation of all the wonderful things this book has to offer.

Fun and necessary set up for the next book with a good side character slow burn romance. Plus we still got to see a little bit of Alexus and how he’s dealing with what happened in the cliffhanger ending in City of Ruin. Like CoR, the spice in this is ridiculous tho!
