William Sieghart’s, Poetry Pharmacy collections are great for dipping into when you need some inspiration for a certain feeling or mood. This collection introduced me to some new poets, poems from poets I already knew but the poem was new to me, and poems I already knew.

Another comfort poetry pharmacy. Preferred first book and second half of this one but still loved it. Would like more variety in poets. Feel some sections I will appreciate more later on life

I love the concept of the 'ailment' (ie boredom, loneliness) and the cure (a poem). I'm new to poetry so the little essay explaining why this poem is a good remedy for the particular ailment is helpfull in learning to read poetry. And the essays are very well written as well, so very enjoyable :)

You can't go wrong with The Poetry Pharmacy. A delight for reading poetry, a solace in times of need. Though I would have liked to see more variety in poets (Mary Oliver, William Stafford and Hafiz again), it is still provides a lot of accessible poems.

Looking forward to part 3: The Poetry Pharmacy Forever in September 2023.

It is shocking that I have only just discovered William Sieghart!

After this I will need to get my hands on a copy of The Poetry Pharmacy.

I adore poetry. It brings me such comfort and beauty.

This collection of poetry was just on a whole new level of amazingness!

I loved that William would discuss feelings and thoughts before hand, So many things were put into perspective and it made the poem all the more enjoyable and also easier to connect with.

This is a book you can return to again and again.

With everything that is going on in the world right now, I am so thankful to have had this in my life. I must get my hands on a physical copy as this is a book I will defiantly want to return to again and again.
