I'm loving the to be claimed saga! All the characters are fantastic. I can't wait to see what comes next.
Not going to lie, I was totally disappointed. I feel like this ended too soon! I'm hoping Jude's story will give more of everyone!

So I guess I like werewolf smut now. Vampire smut too.
I liked this story and I enjoyed reading it but I will say maybe the writing style or pacing isn't for me. It was hard to keep track of everyone - not that the storyline was confusing. It was that I would get invested in a couple during their POV chapters but the next chapter would switch to a different couple and I wanted more of the what has happening with each couple. It is nice to see everyone and their relationships progressing throughout the books but I found at times, I wanted to stay with a Devin or I would want to stay with the MFM relationship and see if her wolf would come out. Overall the story is good and engaging but it is very short and very fast. I found myself wanting more explanations or world building or something.
This one takes place straight after Gentle Scars, make sure you read books one and two, first. The last book added vampires to the story and this time we got some witches + we got to see some badass fighting action in this one! Loved seeing a new depth to all the relationships, as well as some of their problems and worries smoothed out, or started to be worked on. Can’t wait for book 4, Broken Fate, later this year.
“Fate decided to give me a mate. One person to love for my entirety. I will love him with everything I have, but I will live much longer than he will. I will watch him grow old, while I am ageless. I will hold his hand when he dies, yet I will live.”

🌶️ Rating: 1/5
This book in the series focus too much on Veronica, and I just don’t care about this part of the story. I’m mostly interested in Lizzie and she’s barely in this one. The library doesn’t have the rest of the series, which is annoying, but maybe it’s ultimately a good thing.

If you are looking for a spicy good time with a side of werewolf and a little suspense plot line thrown in for some added fun, this trilogy is for you. The heat in this series is off the charts while adding in outside danger that threatens the peace and way of life for the supernaturals in the community. Willow lays the groundwork in book one and then adds to it as the series progresses. In audio, this series is a treat with full cast dual narration that includes performances from Lucy Rivers, Jeffrey Kafer, Gregory Salinas, Addison Barnes, Liam Sanderson, Tor Thom, and Khristine Rivière. You’ll devour your way through this story. It’s the perfect little escape when you just want to enjoy some heat with a PNR twist.
Wounded Kiss follows two sets of couples. Grace and Lizzie are humans who must report for the Offering, a ceremony where the werewolves can choose mates from the human population in exchange for protecting the community from other supernaturals. First we have Grace and Devin who challenge each other at every turn. She demands answers and they both fight to be Alpha in the relationship. Then you have Lizzie, who is not who she pretends to be, paired with both Caleb and Dom. The dynamic between that trio is complicated and steamy. With Gentle Scars we add in Veronica (a vampire) and Vince. This is where the story really takes off and we start to get glimpses of trouble in the supernatural community which ultimately drives the story to the end.
This story is filled with heat, passion, a reluctant mate, characters with dark pasts, tension, and a pack that unites to confront those that would take them down. This story could have become overly complicated, but Willow mostly avoids that by not adding in too many side characters and focusing mostly on the couples. After listening to this series, I can’t wait to dive into her new Dragon Shifter series!
