I have never cried so hard in a book before but it was well worth it. I thought this book was going to be filled with smut and angst; but I was wrong I fell in love with the story. Along with the characters.

Couldn't put it down. Kept you on the edge of your seat until the end
I loved the premise of this book and was really excited to read it, but it fell kinda flat for me. I think overall the pacing felt awkward. The first chapter was a foreshadowing chapter of the future, but there was no explanation of that. So going into the second chapter was super confusing. It also seemed like certain scenarios were being set up and then they never got fleshed out. There was also chunks of time that were detailed and drawn out, but then other chunks of time, that felt like they were equally important, were rushed through really quickly. The story was captivating enough to finish, but I did skim to finish the last 40%.

I received an arc through NetGalley. This book was a really amazing suspenseful read that deals with very important topics. it was hard to read at times but an amazing read all the same . I loved Jenna and Damian. I can’t wait to read more books from this author
