This feels like one of those works you learn about in school for its historical Influence - a treatise on the current political illness of the US that is equally blunt in its diagnosis and inspiring in its recommended treatment. It’s scary to really grapple with everything that is wrong with our democracy and how we got here, but it’s the most important and first step in making a turn for the better. Very timely, informative, and real. Hopefully this book will turn out to be influential as well, as our country needs the education within these pages this year.
