This book was seriously great. The twists and turns were totally unexpected but still made sense and added to the story. And that ending, woah. Can't wait for book two.

Wow what a read!!!

It felt like a completely new twist on wolves, this is the first time i have read a Leia Stone book and wont be the last!!!! And the cover! Love it.

Demi was a great character, really likeable, as she weaved her way through her new home, Sawyer was a bit too sweet until the end, then he shocked me, so many twists and turns i cant wait to read book 2.

What a freaking story and what a journey! I don't know how I can pick up another book after that ending! If you love wolf shifter books then grab this one asap! I read this book in a day, I couldn't put it down and now I am sad that I have to wait for the next book.

Demi is a strong character because she has had to be growing up in exile and forced to keep her wolf hidden. She is just living life as a human until Sawyer comes and changes her whole life around. I loved Sawyer, he may be an alpha but he is not a normal alpha, he is so kind and caring and I loved this change up! I loved how the relationship between Demi and Sawyer grew, also Sage was a wonderful friend and I really wanted some more of her and maybe we will get that in the next book. This book does have a pretty wicked cliffhanger but it's so good.

The book hangover from this story is going to cause me trouble, good thing this was the book I planned as my last of the year. You need this book ASAP, you will not regret it, trust me!

I read this book in hours without getting off my couch. I couldn’t stop!

Demi and her family were outcasted out of Wolf City and has been cuffed since a child to prevent her wolf from coming out. Never even shifted once.

When the Alphas son, Sawyer, came visiting into the town and school she resided in - something about Demi had Sawyers full attention.
It was his turn to pick a mate before he could become Alpha himself and invited Demi back into Wolf City where she can be around her own kind and be a contestant of sorts to get to know him.

Yeah I know it sounds very juvenile and cheesy but let me tell you this book, and this series, is so fucking amazing. It literally engulfs you and you won’t be able
To stop reading. Demi isn’t a normal wolf.

Read too YA for me. Found the whole “FMC isn’t like other girls” trope annoying. My teenage self would have loved it

I absolutely DEVOURED this whole series in three days! Loved the characters. Loved the storyline. Loved the world. The writing was great and easy to follow. Character development was also great! Highly recommend!

Oh my shifter!

I finished this book last night but I had to give myself some time to process. I'm a combo of angry and heartbroken for the characters because that's how invested I am in this story. I seriously had a hard time falling asleep because of that ending. So basically this is a great read - the characters are wonderful and the story arc sucks you in. There are so many questions and it does end on a cliffhanger but it was so worth it.

Book one wasn't bad, I do like the new take of her and her wolf able to be apart, and still function as one. Demi is a decently strong MC and Sawyer is decent as well except for his little issue with his curse but then again no one is really perfect.
I enjoyed the character building but the one thing that gets me frustrated is when the FMC keeps getting kidnapped and has to be saved especially when she started off strong.
