3.5 stars. It was an enjoyable read. Very quick and easy read. Made me laugh out loud a few times.

I found this to be an enjoyable read. Many are comparing it to the Stephanie Plum series, but to me there isn't much similarity except a bit of the humor which is to be expected. A friend of mine says the second book in this series is even better than the book. I will say I did find it quite annoying that Hooker always had to call himself NASCAR Guy. Really, is that your identity?

I needed something light/easy to read in the middle of the night when feeding my baby boy. I like Janet Evanovich's Stephanie Plum series so I thought I would give this a try.

currently listening too...actually

I really think Evanovich should just retire at this point. The writing was trite, the characters superficial and the scenario completely unbelievable, but not in a good way. I didn't laugh out loud once. It won't kill you to read it, but I'm sure you can find something better.

I like this series so far. It's not as good as her Stephanie Plumb series, but it's still as the funny action and the hunky guys...LOL

So funny! It's hard not to think that the characters were sort of interchangeable with some from the Stephanie Plum series, but still, I know I can pick up ANY of Evanovich's books and get a quick, enjoyable read out of them.
