Enjoyed this far more than I expected to. Very sad ultimately, but with very realistic portrayals of characters. No cardboard cutouts here. Bo Mason in particular is very well depicted and a complicated character. My god I struggled trying to hate him, and at times I did, but ultimately I couldn't help caring about him and feeling that awful sinking sensation every time he did something I was screaming at him not to. There's no typical villain, just Bo, but for every negative quality he has a good one, and man. I hurt for everyone. An excellent book.
