SPOILER ALERT
Well John, here we are again. I have now finished Ruin, the best of the three I would think.
Once again you press the envelope of how much I can take of this.
You have killed off a few more of the good guys. You are friends with R R Martin aren't you.
Not only do you abuse our hero you kick his dog and leave her for dead. Seriously.
The action in this one was beyond compare. Any chance you have been offered a movie deal yet.
You are advancing all the characters quite nicely, though in your epic battle you seem to have forgotten young Haelan. His peril is unknown at this time, he seemed to be a non entity in the fight scene. Is he in hiding with Storm's pups, has he escaped. Not a word on him.
I wasn't quiet ready for Meical's confession, interesting plot twist there. Wouldn't it be a hoot if Asroth won this God-war. Of course if he does I will never read another one of your books.
Why do you dislike Cywen so much. I don't think there is another character you pick on more. Veridis will come to her rescue I am sure. Wait, I was wrong, Maquin is your punching bag. Another one you left us hanging on. What more can you do to this poor guy before you let him rest. Give him the girl and a plot of land somewhere, he has earned it.
I don't know what else to say on this one. It was fantastic, again, the best one yet. I guess we are in a holding pattern for book four. Hopefully it will be soon. Feel free to send me the first couple of chapters digitally. I can keep a secret.
Also, I have turned a friend on to this series. He powered through all three books in about a week. He might be more addicted them I am. He has some words for you as well but they involve a lot of bleeping. "since when did a bleeping trilogy consist of four books." His words. He desperately needs book four as well.
So here we sit waiting on you now. Please make the pain go away.
Cheers

Overall this is a good book. I liked the story, the characters, and all the points taken to get from the beginning to the end of this book. I did find it a bit of ateudge at times though. I think this is as strong as the second book and am interested in seeing how this series concludes, but am not immediately going to pick it up as I don't have the pull to do so right now like I have done with other series.
