This book was frustrating all the way through and the ending left me screaming WHY!?! at the top of my lungs. Sitting here shaking my head at these two fools. Why was is so hard to communicate with each other. The GIANT assumption Fin makes at the end, left me to seriously think about moving forward with Broken Us. But you have to know, I went right in on Broken Us, regardless of my frustration with Becoming Us. I must be a glutton for punishment

Finley has a crush on Jake who has completely friend zoned her. The two of them are constantly hanging out and flirting thought so she feels as though she's getting mixed signals from him. Just when she thinks things are going to progress to the next level, he ends up sleeping with one of her friends which causes her a lot of pain. She quits spending time with him and out of the blue meets Brody. Brody is straight up about being interested in her and Brody and Finley start seeing each other.
Brody is insecure and has a really jealous side about him because he's been cheated on twice before. Finley just want's Brody to trust in her love for him. One night a drunken Jake kisses Finley and Brody walks in on them causing all his trust issues to come up. He tells Finley he needs time and that he doesn't like this jealous, and insecure side of himself.

I really liked the back story of Brody and Finley. I love that they said they love each other in a special way, and I was happy that despite having one shitty friend Finley also had supporting, and loving friends such as Angela and Leslie. I can't wait to read the conclusion to Finley and Brody's story in the next book.

Received a free copy in a giveaway.

I've already read A Broken Us so I couldn't wait to see how Finley and Brody began. I kind of wish I would've read this one first. But knowing how their "us" came to be really makes me feel that I know these two amazing characters even better.
But this book is more than that. It takes you through sadness all the way to laughing out loud. An incredible book!

4.5 rollercoaster stars

I have previously read and thoroughly enjoyed the first book in the London Lovers series, A Broken Us, so when I was given the opportunity to read and advanced copy of Becoming Us, it was a no brainer.

In A Broken Us, we learned a little about how Fin and Brody became a couple, but this prologue book delves right in there, gives us the nitty-gritty of their relationship.

We also hear a lot more about the bit-player in A Broken Us, Jake LaShae. We knew that Fin had a crush on him, but wow this was so much more.

And I have to say, I did not like Jake at all. He was a complete douche to Fin and my heart broke over and over for her with things that happened.

I completely and utterly adored Brody from the moment we meet him. He is sweet and caring - though at times I wanted to slap the crap out of him for things and he says to Fin. I could understand why - even though I didn't agree with him - but my heart shattered for our lovelies as they forged ahead with their relationship.

So, do they get their HEA? Nope, for that you are going to have to read for yourself.
Though this is the second in the London Lovers series, you could read it first.

Ms Daws has drawn us right into the world of her characters, and I am very much looking forward to what is coming next.

I've been an Amy Daws fan since her first Harris Brothers book released and I was lucky enough to review for her. Ever since then I have been meaning and meaning to get onto the London Lovers Series and go back to where it all began for her. After all, this series gave us the Harris Brothers after Vi gets introduced in a later book.

Anyways, I digress. I finally thought to myself, bugger it, I'm going to pick it up, and what better time than now while I'm waiting (impatiently I might add), for Gareth's story to release. To tide myself over with some other stories of Amy's, I picked up Becoming Us last night, and boy did I speed through it.

I liked Finley quite a lot, I despised Jake, and Brody was pretty awesome. Mind you, even while I understood his issues, I did not like his actions at times. But overall Brody is pretty damn fine.

I loved the secondary characters as well - more Leslie, Angela and Mark please?

I thought this was a really appropriate college story. It seems to highlight a lot of aspects of what college life must be like. The parties, the finding oneself, insecurities with the opposite sex - it has it all.

But underneath that it also tells the reader to find someone who is like them. Who fits with them and accepts them. Fin and Brody are really sweet together and I like how well they fit, and how so THEM they are.

But let me tell you...that ending?! I'm running of to Amazon right now to get the next book!

Bugger you Amy, bugger you ;-)

Really good.

I was surprised how much I loved this book. I hate that it ended in a cliffhanger! I can't wait to read part 2.

AAAAAAHHHHHHH!!!!!! I need the second book like NOW! I have things I need to be doing but I'm so glad I chose to read this book first.

I love Fin and Brody's story, and I kind of feel a little bad for Jake when it comes to his family and the pressure he faces from them but that was absolutely no excuse for how he treated Finley.

I'm dying to know what happens next. I normally don't recommend books until I finish them, but a third of the way through this one I told my friend to read it because it was already packed with the drama she loves.

Overall I loved it and I know if I had the rest of the books in the series with me I would probably lock myself away until I was done reading them.

This book...
This book was incredible! I love Finely and I LOVE Brody! Together they are everything you wish for in a couple. They’re not perfect, but who is! I love the deep connection they have, this all consuming passion, desire, love. I love that they accept each other flaws and all, that they are each other’s ‘people’. They just fit perfectly, like two puzzle pieces that have been waiting to find one another.

They way the fell comfortably in love with one another, they way they laid it all on the line and were open and honest with one another from day one was a beautiful sight.

I can’t wait to read more about Finely and Brody, because as cheesy as it may sound they give you hope that there is a love out there that fits you perfectly.

Emmm, no sé por dónde comenzar.
No me gustó la protagonista, ni sus supuestos amores, ni cómo terminó. Sin embargo la historia completa me atrapó
