hmmm… existentialism?  I probably wasn’t in the right mindset to be reading this it felt lost on me, the writing itself was decent

HOW DID I NOT KNOW ABOUT THIS BOOK

Edit: I see this was just announced. I felt like I was miles behind. Either way:

2.5 stars. I just don't know! Too long, too much of the same. Thought provoking, yes.

This book was not for me. It took me forever to read because it never grabbed me & pulled me in.

This is one of the most compelling and creative books I've read in a while. Just read it.

Creative in that I e not read anything like it. Lame in that I have zero clue what happened.

What on earth was that ending??? I barely understood what was going on half the time but somehow I still managed to enjoy this book.

This was one of the most frustrating things I've read. The only book I've read in 2019 so far that somehow manages to be even more frustrating and awful than this book was The Fever King by Victoria Lee.

The thing that baffles me, though, is that The Fever King at least seems to not be getting as much blind, devoted love as this book has. I don't fucking get it, I really don't.

I have to say, I did really like the first part of the book, and it really hooked me. It's also the reason I didn't DNF it, even though now that I'm finished I know I should have just DNF'd it.

I guess I'm just not meant to like books titled More Than This! (see: More Than This by Jay McLean)

This book was boring, the "twist" was stupid and boring and I hated it the end.
