I think I am just in a mood.
Just a mood where I'm not really liking anything idk, or maybe I just wasn't in the mood for this specific manga.
I don't wanna give up on this series though because it looks cute so I think I might end up trying to watch the anime adaptation and then possible return to the manga if I really like it!

alright peeps let me tell you how this volume went down
within twenty pages i was completely charmed by haru! mostly because characters with overly dramatic feelings about friendship are invariably my favourite. i blame skip beat.
and then he said he was in love with shizuku which ngl left me a little less charmed but ah well. such is the shoujo life
as the volume progressed i ended up kind of borderline on haru though, like i get that he's supposed to be completely socially maladjusted but come on bro. dragging shizuku into an alleyway? suddenly kissing her? weird is okay but i hope his journey includes some very strong lessons on boundaries
i like shizuku though! and how her oddness is way more low key than haru, like she seems like a focused student who's got it together and you're like oh i see she'll be his straight man! except it turns out they are both isolated and in need of the power of ~friendship~ which is exactly the kind of cheesy theme that gets to me
also natsume is great. i don't have anything else there, i just like her a lot
