Such a fun omegaverse story!

This book delivered on everything you want from an omegaverse romance. It was spicy, the men were dynamic and obsessed with their omega, and the omega was strong despite her designation. I had so much fun reading this.

The spice in this book hits the spot. It is sweet and gentle one minute and demanding the next. Each man has his own style and the heat scene was hot without being too much.

Faedra was such a cool FMC. This story took a different stance with omegas than I usually see. Fae is blunt and doesn’t need to build confidence, she already has it. While she struggles with coming fully into her designation, she still asks for what she needs and isn’t afraid to speak up. It was really cool to read about an omega who could hold her own.

Jude, Carter and Logan are all swoony and they have distinct personalities. They each have a unique relationship with Faedra, and even through the drama and tension in the book, they remain true to their personalities.

Overall I really enjoyed this book and would definitely recommend.

Cute, sweet, uncomplicated, low angst omegaverse. There isn’t a concept of omegas being at risk in public or subjugated by the government or powers that be, which adds to the low stress of this book.

I am always confused by omegaverses that have betas who don’t understand anything about alpha/omegas/packs and their dynamics, while living in a world with them where they openly interact together and could easily be observed. It doesn’t make sense to me, but that could just be me!

Low spice level for an omegaverse (which is neither negative or a positive - just an observation). Very broad descriptions of any sexual encounter, and low kinkiness (it was simple, monogamous, straight vaginal penetration sex - she just happens to have three men to do it with, but only one partner is actively having sex with her at any time). Sadly, no MM.

i’m really just leaving this review for me so maybe I can go back one day and see if I was crazy, but I just felt like I was missing a lot of info the entire time I was reading it? maybe it was because the transitions between scenes and events were so incredibly abrupt … idk I just felt like I was confused and things felt like they happened just for the sake of having a plot. idk this def wasn’t a fav

*ARC Review*

Thank you so much Jillian Rink for providing me with an ARC copy of this beautiful book! I literally devoured this book in a matter of 3 hours, one sitting, I could NOT put it down.

I fell in love with all of the characters and adored Faedra, but honestly, Jude was my favorite. What can I say, there's something about a grumpy guy with a soft spot! Going into this book, I was excited, but I was not entirely sure what to expect, and you did not disappoint with what was delivered.

The character building, background stories for each character, and relationships were unlike anything that I have read before. I have never read anything from the Omegaverse before, and it was genuinely interesting. It took a bit to understand, but once I did, I thought it was so well thought out!

Congratulations on this new novel, and I cannot wait to see what you release in the future! (I definitely cannot wait to read what comes after book 1!)

Story was okayish but only read this one if you are obsessed with ear piercings, (she mentions the FML touching her vey specific ear piercings ~20 times in this story) and you want a lot of trauma happening around what seems like very little trauma (many times the traumatized male leads mention the 'very rough time' they were going through in the past during this or that experience, and yet, the only thing we really were told about was a sister who passed away?). This is yet another example of an omegaverse story being fooooooooorced. Eh. I know that omegaverse subject matter is silly - but if you want to read some good omegaverse that isn't dramatized and pandering - find Kathryn Moon.

This was a cute, quick Omegaverse read!  I absolutely loved the hiking/camping element, and would read more about this universe.

Tropes/Omegaverse things:
-age gap
-bonding
-suppressants
-no sword crossing
-knife violence
-bat shit crazy ex's
-surprise pregnancy
