It's just not for me. The world was cool, but the decisions Jani made were WILDLY out of place. Also her relationship with her sister was so ill-discussed that I had no
understanding of why she was so obsessed with finding her. The story would have been so much better without the sister in it at all!

If you liked, Caraval, The Night Circus, Spirited Away and Howl's Moving Castle you'll like this book.

It is YA so I wasn't super into it but I know some people do love the YA genre :)

A bit of your classic YA fantasy, young girl who doesn’t know she is the key to saving everything, but also has twists, turns, and revelations that set it apart from your standard YA. The ending is predictable but the journey to get there wasn’t.
