Thank you Kaye, for the ARC and opportunity to read this amazing story!
Noah and Ria's love story gave me all the feelings. It made my heart swell, then break into a million pieces, before finally putting it back together. I felt their heartaches and longing so deeply, I wanted nothing more than to erase all their hurt. Noah's unwavering love was everything and Ria's resilience had me rooting for her every step of the way.
As for the plot, I don't think there was ever a dull moment. Something was always happening and I don't think I'm giving anything away by saying there was twist after twist. I was always on the edge of my seat, wanting to know what would happen next and how Noah and Ria would emerge from it to find their HEA. Does love conquer all? Yes, yes it does.
This was such a well written story and I enjoyed every second of reading it!

Highlights:
- Dual POV
- Love at first site AND a bit of a second chance romance
My thoughts:
I normally don’t love an instant love meet cute, but I felt like the chemistry with Noah and Ria really reeled me in. They always found their way back to eachother, and I loved that. This story had romance but I would say it’s more of a suspense story than a romance, and it’s also a story of a mother’s love and how deep that can be. I don’t want to spoil anything- so I’ll keep it short on that.
I don’t typically read suspense romance- so I feel like I’m not the ideal audience for this book-but after reading it, I feel like Ria and Noah could totally have a duology book about them after all this chaos. I would love to see Ria (and Noah) in a healthy mental state. In this book- Ria was (understandably) severely distressed the entire time - and I really want to know her when she’s in a peaceful state also.
If you like action-filled suspense - you might like this one!
I love Kaye and her passion in her work, and I can’t wait to read her next book.
Thank you so much, Kaye, for providing me with this ARC to read and review.

I would like to start by saying thank you to Kaye Rockwell for giving the book club (and myself) a digital copy and the opportunity to read your book.
Now for my thoughts. I was very confused when reading the plot initially, especially as it is described as romance suspense - but also gave off crime/thriller vibes?! But anyway, I think the book starts off the way every romance (cringy) story starts. A cute story between the two main characters, Ria and Noah. Also, shout out to the Filipinos, the representation was great in this book.
I think the overall plot fell flat for me, it was all squished into one short book (I practically finished this in a few hours) and it was just all happening way too fast with little segue between each. I get the story, but I feel like it was too condensed and would've felt better if the plot was spread into a mini-series so that I could understand the characters better.
It was still a good read (also had to get my mum to translate two quotes to fully understand the book LOL).
