It is a decent adaptation, I still prefer Clean Sweep over this but to folks being introduced to the series it's not a bad way. I just did not like some of the added characters/scenes and changes from the original.

A fun comic of the first book, Clean Sweep! It's not exactly as I imagined it, but a lot can be forgiven... I find it interesting that a few scenes (quite a few, actually) were added to the comic. I heard that it was to meet the minimum episode # requirement on Tapas or something. I can't say that I loved it, since it slowed down the story a it, but I'm treating them as bonus deleted scenes.
