The twists in this book had me in a choke hold the whole time. I was very invested in this amazingly written book. I can't wait to see what the second book has to offer. I loved it so much.

If you love masked men, enemies to lovers, obsessive and possessive mmcs, and twisted, traumatized characters with a relationship as corrosive as fluoroantimonic acid this book is for you!
This book is the epitome of temptation. I read this gorgeous piece of art in less than 12 hours and could NOT put it down. I’m so excited to see what else comes to the table for these two deranged love birds and what struggles they will have to face to overcome their own demons as well as find their own happily ever after.
Thank you so much to this amazing author for the opportunity to arc read such an astounding piece of literature. It is an honour to have been given the opportunity and I cannot express enough how gorgeous everything about this novel is.

Emery….. oh my god. The end left me awestruck. I need Eve and Emery like I need air. Providing therapy to the person who murdered your family. He was broken and started to break her. Enemies to lovers just *chefs kiss*

Holy cow! This was one of those books I could not put down. I absolutely loved this book.

So we start off with Eve who narrowly escapes a masked murderer. Fast forward six years later and she’s a student studying psychology and gets the opportunity to work with the killer she escaped. What starts as a quest for revenge and insight turns into something much more. She learns the truth as to why her family is targeted and the dark secrets that connect them.

The relationship between them is such a slow burn and when it hits, oh boy! Their story captivated me from the start. It’s dark and twisty but endearing.

At no time could I predict what was coming but I loved that! The twists and turns kept met turning the page. I literally could not put this book down and read it all in one day. That ending was epic! I know book two is going to deliver and I cannot wait to get my hands on it to read the ending of Eve and Emery’s story!

HELLO!!!! I. ATE. THIS. BOOK. UP! It gave me Harley Quinn & the Joker vibes, and I was living for it. She’s a student at Michigan State studying Psychology wanting to understand why that tragic night happened. She wants to understand and forgive to move on (while also getting revenge) so she decides to do her thesis on the man that massacred her family on her sixteenth birthday only she’s not ready to discover what caused the Devil of Harper Pointe to murder her father, brother and her uncle. I loved almost every minute of this book except when Ethan was involved. He was a real piece of work, and he couldn’t have been disposed of quick enough for me. I loved being able to put two and two together as the FMC discovered the truth about her father’s company and what they were really doing. The twists and turns in this book had me at the edge of my seat and chapter 30 almost had me throwing my tablet out the window. Eve’s uncle is an AH, and I can’t wait to find out what happens to him in the second book.

This is a great read and I 100% recommend this to my dark romance girlies.

T his book was so different it was amazing. I kept going back and forth on my feelings. Every time I thought I knew what was happening we would get a piece of new information. Eve and Emory are tied together because of one night. This book is dark and should be prepared mentally before diving in

The twists and turns left me craving more! The FMC's family was brutally killed several years ago and the FMC has decided to "treat" the MMC for reasons unknown...at the beginning. However, the mental, emotional, and physical journey that she went on had me wondering where this book was going until the very end...and it was a great ride to be on!

The character progression throughout the book was phenomenal and I loved being able to experience the growth of the FMC and the MMC throughout. I can't wait for Book Two to see where they end up and how things come together for them.

Beautiful Prey

I urgently need the second book! The ending was quite the cliffhanger. I thoroughly enjoyed the first book and its characters. Emery and Eve have an unexpected yet refreshing dynamic.

Eve, in her quest for revenge and answers, visits her family’s killer only to discover a broken man who has been the monster haunting her dreams since she was 16.

Emery, who is misunderstood and tormented, captured my heart from the beginning. His gentle demeanor towards Eve reminded me of my own gentle giant.

I started out absolutely obsessed with this book. The very first chapter had me freaking hooked and didn't let me go for a WHILE. It really started to drag when it hit the middle point, though, and by the end I was honestly skimming a little bit.

I really liked the character development. They both had a lot of growth throughout the story but Eve really stood out to me. She was just so dynamic and really drew you in.

Beautiful Prey is definitely a slow burn but once it gets there it's 😏😏😏. The cliffy? Criminal.

I'll definitely be checking out book two because I really need to know what happens.
