Damien boss advices him that he is responsible for Amaira and this is how their friendship is built.. this is amazing story that will have you hooked and sinked into this book.. is has a cliffhanger at the end and I wanted to scream but the next book is coming out soon so this will be amazing story as Mrs M writing style is frickin awesome..

I want to cut a...M! (I was gonna say bitch but that derogatory to bitches. *evil smirking side eye directed at you M. Robinson*)

I need to smack, punch, and hit someone. Stabby thoughts and eye jabbing fingers. I am smiling in disbelief and violent tendencies are creating new ways to harm a certain author.

I had been dying to get my hands on this baby. After El Diablo, there was no way to not need this book. No way you wouldn't want to know about El Santo. Then there was the appearances when he was needed elsewhere...

But let me just say that the opening of this book is incredible and the ending can't be more true!!!!

M. Robinson out did herself with El Santo. It's a story that needs to be told but makes you so sad to read. Aaaaaagh! There are so many spoilers I could unleash but I just can't so all my rage, anger, and joy are bubbled up inside me looking to explode.

I am a volcano of needy comments dying to erupt. Must find a support group...

5 Stars are not enough - it should be 500

Once again the queen of angst has out did herself. I have never had a book that had me go from an ugly cry to flat out angrier than hell than this book. The emotions bled from each page and the characters had so many layers you learned more about them with every chapter. M. Robinson writes such fabulous characters and a plot so twisted you think about this book long after you read the final words on the last page. 5 Stars are not enough!!!

I have issues with M Robinson writing and how she makes her books and story. She drags everything and adds to many details. Is it really need all of that just to release a second book?

Anyway. My favorite character from her is Alejandro. Why? Because he was different. One of my issues is how all her characters have similar personalities to each other and Alejandro was different. Damon? He is an Alejandro. A worse Alejandro.

He is mean and has no remorses and I was kinda accepting it until the story became what I didn’t expected: El Diablo 2.0 and Damon became Alejandro. I mean, his actions were everything I read in El Diablo. There was even similar scenes. Is this what the author has to deliver? A story similar to the other, two different characters but the same at same time but he only difference is that one cuts fingers without remorse?
Spoiler For gdo's sake, he even has sex with a woman in from of Amira to hurt her, just like Alejandro did. He pushes her away in same way Alejandro did.

I don’t know what’s worse. Her dragging the story or have no originality to create a new character from 0.

And Amira? Does she have a problem? How can she love him? I will talk in spoiler because... i need to vent it.
Spoiler He has to rape her sister because of a man he knows well and woould kill them anyway and has the courage to try to calm her down? He rapes her in front of Amina. Amina sees it. Amina sees them kill her family. What she says about Damon? "He isn't like them. He is a victm like me." Forgive me to believe someone has to have some dignity. Oh, and let's talk how Damnon does everything his "boss" says and kill without mercy because is a way to fight his demons? I mean, he kills and tortures people and even says everything he does is for Amira? If he is that good like he thinks, why not just kill the man himself? Anyway.

I have to gather my thoughts, I have no idea what to think but this isn’t a good thing. I will wait to read El Pecador but not excited about it.

I didn't know what to expect going into this book as I haven't read any of this author's work before but I'm pleased to say I loved it and look forward to reading more of her work. The book is angsty which isn't a fave of mine but this book worked for me on so many levels. I loved the hero and heroine even though I didn't like everything they said or did well mainly the hero, he has some issues. This book though I loved it and want to squeal my love from the rooftops. I cannot wait to read the conclusion to this story. I hope it has me glued to the pages and on a precipice of anticipation. I highly recommend it.

What. A. Ride.

This book had me all over the place as I read! I’ve read a couple books by this author before and I thought I had it all figured out. I. Was. Wrong. Right off the bat M. Robinson hits us straight in the heart and she doesn’t stop until the very end. This book had a knot in my stomach and I had to stop reading several times to compose myself. I have really come to enjoy these stories by M. Robinson as the story just flows and her writing just keeps getting better and better. I love that even though her characters are far from perfect you can’t help but want them to have their happy ending. I know some people may not care for the love story between the main characters but please go in with an open heart. This story as tough and ugly as it was to read has a beautiful message. I’m so happy I stuck with this story and fell so hard for Damien and Amira. Well done M. Robinson.

my god the queen of angst has done it again!
"come hell or high water, no one could ever take that away from me. It was mine. Along with the future of what I'd become. El Santo...."
If you loved El Diablo and The Good Ol' Boys then this is a book for you as it's a mix of both worlds.
"I'm far from the hero in this story.
I'm closer to the villian.
You will think of me as the villian.
Except, I'm far worse"
I loved how this author gave us the back stories from Damien and Amira's life,
I'm still on the fence about if I actually like Damien but there's no doubt this author knocked it out of the park with a fantastic angsty read, she had me wanting to Chuck my kindle to crying and then loving on Damien!
I volunteered to read a copy of this book

Fuck. My. Life!!!!

You know by now I should know M. Robinson will do nothing but what she is good at... Ripping her readers hearts out, no mercy.

I find myself stupidly clueless as to how to proceed in writing this review without spoilers, mother fuckers you need to go through this like I did!
So, I will talk about the emotions that this story inflicted upon my soul.

The start of this story you meet a young and somewhat naive Damien, boom there went my heart, without apology I just immediately clicked with him. As the story progresses, my love for Damien grew and then somehow I also started to dislike him. God, I really though Martinez, El Diablo, was a bastard. Damien takes the whole bakery. I struggled with wanting to love him and needing to hate him for his fucked up ways. And Amira, she was everything! She was a casualty and the end. I have no idea if this is making sense or of I'm simply rambling... But, I can't coherently explain the destruction that was wrought upon my entire being, the destruction I willingly welcomed, loved, enjoyed and was utterly devastated as soon as realized it was over.

Once again, M. Robinson you've done this! And it was amazing. I loved this book. Loved the emotions that your characters evoked in me.
