An entertaining ride. I had a good time and found myself incredibly intrigued by the thief’s insatiable behavior. By the time the second half hits and the hours of cards being built finally comes tumbling down, I was fully on board. I feel like narrative-based nonfiction always has a tricky task of balancing between fact and embellishment, but this felt very grounded and pulled together from a variety of sources. Highly recommend this in a print edition with images of some of the artwork!
