The story itself is interesting but the first half of this book was surprisingly dull. Picked up in the second half and anybody with a better knowledge of art and art history might enjoy the beginning more than I did.

this story is so devastating and crazy. art history isn't a topic that grips me and the writing was a bit tough to get through at times, but the Stephane is a fascinating enough character to get through the book.

I devoured this book in two days. The story was so fascinating I read 150 pages on the first day, and finished it the next!! It's one of a kind, and mesmerizing. I was astonished.
