I forgot how much I actually enjoyed this book. It is a very fast read but can be a little choppy at times. However, the characters are fun, the story is easy to follow, and I just had a good time reading it. I am looking forward to reading the rest of the series (hopefully this year)!

Good start to a great series. I was skeptical after Twilight but its a whole different universe that is incredible and so worth it.

I've read this book each time I get the next in the series and it never fails to suck me in. I loved the new world it presented to me and the tragic beauty that was this book.
Lissa and Rose have always been best friends. Lissa is a Moroi Vampire Princess and Rose is a Dhampir bodyguard novice. They ran away from St. Vladimir Academy two years ago. Now they are back and still aren't telling why they left. In the midst of all this you have magic, love, spiteful girls and highschool dances. I really liked the book and can't wait to read the next in the series.

Pretty good, excited to be restarting the series
Amazing series by an amazing writer. Love how it captures your attention and transports you to the scenes with great details. No series by this author has disappointed me to this day. They are great reads and rereads.
