Una de las mejores sagas que he leído. Tiene un personaje femenino fantástico, fuerte y sarcástica, amor, peleas y humor. Me ha encantado y estoy segura de que a vosotras también ;)

I feel like crap today, and nothing's more comforting than vampire YA trash. It's not horribly written, there is some attempt at storyline, the leads aren't completely wilted flowers, look just let me read in peace everyone wants a hot russian guardian dude.

At first, Rose and Lissa really annoyed me. But fortunately it went better and better, and I have increasingly appreciated them. And then... well... there is Dimitri ^^
fast-paced
The best parts are with Rose and Dimitri, otherwise I think I won't be reading past book two... Time to get back to some more grown up content.
This book is so easy to get into. Like Rachel Hawkins, Richelle Mead has a very conversational tone that makes reading her books so easy.
Overall, the story was unique and different. But, there are also A TON of vampire books out there.
The characters seemed kinda...flat. I didn't really connect with any of them like I wanted to.
The whole thing between Dmitri and Rose was kind of predictable, old, and unnecessary. I didn't feel like it added anything to the story.
The book was okay overall. I'd read it again, but it's definitely not my favorite.

I read this series when I was young and am revisiting as an adult and man do they hold up. Obviously still problematic in a very early 2000’s way (aka the age difference, the overt slut shaming) but those things aside it is such a good book. Funny without being cringey, well paced, the whole fantasy aspect of is well thought out. Excited to keep going.
