A fascinating read!! Really easily accessible and readible, especially as I often struggle to get into non-fiction books. I do feel it maybe jumped about a bit but as someone who has not read Marxist-feminist literature before it was a really great introduction for me. Much to think about!!!!!!!

A well-laid out overview of some of the ways the industrial revolution and capitalism have shaped our lives and our families. Easy to follow despite the density of the subject matter.

Some of this book I loved, other parts my eyes glazed over, I picked away at it for awhile but ultimately didn’t finish it
