I read this for a Black Women Writers class, it would be cool to see a performance of this piece.
As poetry, a clear 4/4.5, but, I imagine, if I ever actually were see it performed in all its rhythmic, melodic chaos, it would warrant a 5.
this was good. It had a lot of deep underlying meaning and women can gain a good amount of inspiration from it. The only thing is that her style of writing can be difficult to read sometimes.

absolutely beautiful and amazing read, almost overwhelming in text so I imagine it’s even more powerful to see as a play

It was difficult to decipher the vernacular at times, but after listening to the live version while following along with the text, now that was the best way to experience this story!!
