(sadly did NOT finish this book on friday 03/31 when i had wanted, BUUUUTTTTT)
this book was honestly so amazing. i absolutely loved zoya's story and the ending was exactly what she deserved tbh. i wasn't exactly sure how this book was going to end, but i do think it was done well.
now i remember this was supposed to be a duology, but the ending could have left room for another? or possibly a short novela?? not sure, but i'm happy and excited either way!
these characters and their journey has always been so important to me. since shadow and bone, i have done nothing but love and care for these characters, and of course leigh just makes that love deeper with ever chapter.
watching nina and hanne together, and seeing zoya's character growth throughout these books. genya is so so so important and her dialog at the end felt so impactful.
truthfully don't know how much more love i could have for these characters and this universe.
thank you leigh for giving us this world and these flawed characters who are so imperfectly perfect.

The best part of this book was seeing the crows again. Review to follow.
