Far and away the best book in the series, but could’ve used some more perspectives and the characters from the original book felt different, not in the best way

I started this book last year in August and it took me an eon to get through. The pacing was really slow - as is expected of an SJM book - until the last 200 pages or so.

Nesta's character development is the primary focus of this book which was awesome, I don't hate her anymore, however I feel that a solid 90% of this book was filler, and the same mundane shit over and over and over again.

That being said, I enjoyed the sibling relationships and watching Nesta allow herself to heal and receive love despite believing that she deserves it.

This book felt like it was rushed and had some lazy tropes brought in to play in the end to wrap up lose ends, but the main focus being Nesta was actually really interesting and dynamic. Anyone who has struggled with self hatred will relate to this book almost immediately. Her growth is actually probably the most impressive character growth in the ACoTaR series.
