I haven’t read a high fantasy novel in a really long time and man this was SO GOOD.

Been having a hard time getting into fantasy novels lately, so the fact that I managed to immerse myself in this one is rather impressive.

Twisty in all the good ways. The world-building is SO lush and fragrant.

Just know that even with months in between reading (boo reading slumps), I picked the story right back up as if no time passed between.

With brain fog and the audiobook, I couldn't keep track of all the characters and factions, but despite that, this book was really engrossing and a thrilling read. I'll definitely be reading the sequels.
