4.09 AVERAGE

The pace for this book I feel like was slower. I feel like they threw in Luce at the last minute in the last book, and that kind of took up half of this book, and then they kind of left it on the cliffhanger in the middle of the book that threw me off a little bit without spoiling it too much but overall, I feel like they did a good job, tying everything together there was no like loose ends the ending definitely makes sense for this book as well. I’m interested to see what happens in the world in the other books. The only thing I wish this series did was explain why she had so many mates. They talked about it a little bit, but they never went to detail and also she had runes to represent them but I wanted to know why.

Wow

I seriously enjoyed this series.

Ama and her 8 men are amazing.

Their stories were amazing. I wish we got more at the end but its was beautifully written.

Highly recommend.

Another why choose series done extremely well! And Ama the FMC really shines throughout it all I absolutely adored her. If you are a fan of spicy paranormal romance I would highly recommend this series!

4.5 stars.
This was a really interesting series.
I really enjoyed it.
There are a couple things that would’ve ramped up that enjoyment even more…but it was still pretty good.

First off let me just say.
No group scenes.
Like none.
We get close twice. One of them in the last book where there were just two of them there with her. And one in this book where she does give the other a blowjob but it’s sort of vague writing about it.
Otherwise we just got one scene with each of the 8 guys before moving on to the next.
I’m starting to think that’s just how M operates. It was like that in another book I read from her, too.

Other than that little annoyance I really enjoyed the politics and world building and relationships. They were all so in depth and fascinating.
Honestly I think this series could’ve used another whole book for an epilogue and Then maybe I’d be satisfied.

4.5⭐️

damn this book kept me on my toes. i honestly didn’t know what was going to happen or what to expect. which honestly was nice not to guess how things would end.

”Ama, what I feel for you isn’t the start or even the definition of love. It’s a devotion that has nothing to do with being your mate and everything to do with the woman I know you are.”

some hot sex scenes between Ama and her men, but the plot really drove the story. not gonna lie tho, was a bit disappointed there weren’t any true group scenes with all the men. i also wished there was a more distinct moment or reaction to the mate bond snapping into place. instead of them just coming together and the reader assuming their bond was stronger together. the connection between Ama and her men could have been explored a little more after the mate bond was established.

i also loved the two epilogues and the connection between the DIA which I never realized before.
