For me this fantasy world is not well explained. There’s too much society and all the creatures in the book left me confused and very lost, for me it should be a better introducing to the world created. Besides that it’s a very long slow born and slow pace as well. I just could never get to the end of the book and eventually gave up. Good storyline just not well developed in my opinion.
Overly reminiscent of Crescent City, but without the same spark. The female lead came across as disappointingly weak, and the plot stretched far longer than the story’s substance could support.
