Needful Things is clearly Stephen King's way to exorcise his demons as he came out of rehab. While not his best, by any means, I did find this one captivating and interesting. Leland Gaunt, in particular, is one of his more haunting baddies.
Yet, in typical King fashion, it goes on just a smidge too long but about 100-150 pages.
