This was my first Stephen King book and it did not make me a fan. His thoughts seem disorganized like he just dumped out all his thoughts and published it without editing. It’s jammed packed with triggering content of pretty much every kind for seemingly no reason other than shock value.

Overall this book was pretty good. I've enjoyed other Stephen King books a lot more though and found this one to drag a little. I still found it really interesting and can definitely see how it relates to our society. I hated the ending of this so much, it just didn't make a lot of sense to me. I think it might as I read more of his books but who knows.

I don't think I can give a fully comprehensive review of this book at this time, just know that I absolutely loved and adored the story for everything that it was.
Word of caution, as I don't have the energy right now to be able to list all the content and trigger warnings this book contains, I do NOT recommend this as someone's first Stephen King novel. This is extremely heavy and dark, and arguably too much to start with if you want to get into his works. If you've already read a few of his other books, especially any of the others set in the town of Castle Rock, then you should be okay.
