I forgot how much I loved books where women spiral into madness and you can’t tell whats real, supernatural or a drug-induced vision. Last sentence made me gasp in this train car, so good.

Interesting interesting! Thought the build up could have been a little more streamlined but at the same time, appreciated the full context-it just felt like the denouement was rushed

one of my new favorites! i blew through it in a couple days. it’s very fun and the narrator feels real and genuine. it explores the intricacies of female friendships, closeted queerness, and feminine identity forming. so so fun and well written.

oh! and the way women and female celebrities are treated by the media specifically in the early 2000s. really checked all my boxes.
