Read this book and then figured out NGT has several sexual assault allegations from people who have worked for him.

Dark matter. Dwarf galaxies. Dark energy, The cosmic microwave background. Who knew science could be so uniquely fascinating and yet so difficult to grasp. I listened to the audiobook for this one and Tyson's smooth, soothing narration was a treat. Even so, I probably only retained a fraction of the entire book. Not surprising for a liberal arts, non scientific person. But it was a treat to listen about how much we've learned, often by accident or while looking for something else, and how much more there is to learn. At the end, it is Tyson's passion and enthusiasm that really shines when he talks about our place in the cosmos and what (or who) else is out there.

Easy to follow and got a little existential thinking about our place in the universe

I'm such a deGrasse Tyson fan so I just had to convince my boss to let me teach this book.

The only reason why this doesn't get 5 stars because I wish it included pictures or some sort of graphics to help visualize. I would gladly pay more for that.

Anyways, I really like how simple and relatable he made the book. It was like reading an episode of the Cosmos - brilliant and eye-opening.

And the title definitely lives up to it as I finished reading it quickly - while making a workbook.
