It’s a really good read. The split story between WWII and the present tied together so beautifully by the end. The characters were very three dimensional and mostly likable. I was sad when the book was over.

This book started very slowly for me, it had two storylines, one present, one in 1942 occupied Poland. The stories did not come together until I was 2/3 through but ended well.
