There is a lot of action in this book! A lot!

There are a lot of detailed descriptions in this book on things like airplanes, surveillance, and bit about nanoscience, and it made me feel like I was reading a proper manly man equivalent of a book… Not that it couldn’t be enjoyed by female audience. It’s just that if I imagined this book, it would be a man. Full of action in different locations, all tied to a single goal by the terrorists. Rescue operations, self-preservation, lots of travel across the world and all sides fighting for what they feel is right.

There are explosions, fighting and a mighty adventure, great amount of innocents dying and clinically accurate layout to the whole thing. I feel, as a movie, it would work pretty great! I rated this book 4 stars- author has done great work around being very detailed and accurate in his writing, even if a lot of this information was sadly wasted on me. The descriptions of nanoscience, the aeroplanes and at times characters (their weight given in pounds) was lost on me. I don’t do pounds, so I could really have no idea what the characters looks like nor was I going to google for the converter. Author’s passion for planes is evident, but I’m just an airhead girl so this information meant absolutely nothing to me… That said- the plot was great and somewhat current.

This book was different for me. I think it was good but I was not engage as much as I wanted to be. Maybe Middle Eastern terrorists are not my cup of tea. I did think the story line was intriguing. * I received this book from the author in exchange for an honest review*

A new terrorist plot!

A new terrorist plot and it's in the water. This book is filled with action and suspense, and adds a inkling of fear of what could possibly happen in the real world. It's a grand thriller and filled with fantasy and sci-fi, but it could easily be a map for a non-fiction threat. It's a well written, well thought out story, and highly imaginative. It's a great read and I hope to read more of Donovan's work.

Waterkill was a fantastic book to read. It draws you in from the first chapter and keeps you turning those pages to find out what exactly is going to happen. I read this book in 2 nights, going to bed early one night to read it.

I liked that there was a ton of action. The author was straightforward with who the terrorists were and who the good guys were. I also liked the science angle of it too. Nanoscience fascinates me too.

This book scared me on so many levels too. Because it makes you think and wonder “Are the terrorists doing this same thing?” and “If so, will our country be able to stop it like in the book.”

I did like the unexpected curve that the author threw into the mix. Again, it made me think “What if.”

Will, I reread this book? Yes

Will, I recommend it to family and friends? Yes

The age range for this book? 18 plus and only because of the violence in it.

**I voluntarily reviewed a complimentary copy of this book**
