I enjoy each book from this series more than the one before. This one addressed some very important issues around stalkers, self-defense, trusting the system, and the support of those around you. Each book makes me adore the characters more and more. Well done, again, Ms McKinlay.

This book was absolutely FANTASTIC!! This series just keeps getting better! I love when a book makes you feel like you’re being wrapped in a warm fuzzy hug, with murder

It's the first book I read in this series and won't surely be the last.
Even if it features all the cozy mystery tropes (small town, friends, library) it starts as a thriller and, to be honest, it perfectly describes a stalker victim reactions and how somebody can dismiss the victim fears.
As this is a cozy mystery this is just part of the book. There is a murder, an investigation and the life of the characters.
The mystery was good, full of twists and turns, and I liked it even if it wasn't hard to guess the culprit.
I look forward to reading other instalment in this series.
Highly recommended!
Many thanks to Berkeley and Edelweiss for this ARC, all opinions are mine.
